Utica has an urgent solvency problem: We don't bring in enough revenue to cover our long-term liabilities, which is a recipe for disaster. Let's invest existing tax dollars into neighborhoods, downtown, and roads to avoid catastrophe.

Quality of Life.

Achieving safe, walkable streets means we have to start addressing the needs of Utica residents, instead of drive-through out-of-towners. Putting the needs of neighborhoods first is the only proven way to attract people and businesses to a town.

Safety.

Let's match our police and fire numbers to adjacent cities, fully funded, without a county takeover. Let's work to slow down traffic in neighborhoods, so our kids can play without fear of getting hit. And let's collaborate with all levels of law enforcement to keep Utica free of terrifying drugs like heroin.
